New Year!

Hey everyone. So I dont know about you but this week seemed to go fast but last forever. I cant believe that New Years day was just this week. KC and I spent New Years Eve at home. KC started painting the kitchen and I spent most of the night playing guitar hero. I sat in front of the TV for hours playing. Let me tell you, after playing for so long when you turn off the TV the room seems to be moving up and down as a result from staring at the TV for long. New Years Day KC finished painting the kitchen. I just did stuff around the house but our kitchen now looks great. It's no longer just plaing white. The color we painted it is called Brandy but i wont even try to explain it because I wouldnt be able to.
This week at work went by quickly. We are in the middle of some big changes at work so it's hard to back in to getting things done but we'll see what happens. KC had an awesome week at work. He only worked 3 days and got 3 sales. He had 2 in one day which is a first, YAY!! we were really excited for him. Go KC!
This week we went and saw the movie PS. I Love You! It stars Hillary Swank. I didnt like the movie at all. It starts with her husband dying (which i already knew that was going to happen) and the rest of the movie is kinda of how she deals with it ( i wont ruin it for those who are still going to see it). The whole time I was feeling bad for her. I dont know what I would do in her situation. I cried the whole movie. We also saw The Bee movie. This one stars Jerry Seinfield and Matthew Broderick. It is an animated movie but very cute. I loved it. There were little parts through out the whole movie that just keep you silently laughing throughout the whole thing. I would suggest it. Lastly we saw the movie Dan in Real Life. We both really enjoyed this also. It stars Steve Carrell from The Office. Its about Dan who lost his wife 4 years ago and his 3 daughters. Its been hard for them all since that happened. Well one morning Dan was at a book store and met this woman and spent the whole morning talking to her only to find out that she had a boyfriend. That day he finds out her boyfriend happens to be his younger brother when she shows up with his for the family trip. It was really cute and I would suggest seeing it as well. The Bee movie and Dan in Real Life were in the dollar theater so they may be out on DVD now but I would go back and see both, they were so good.
KC and i discovered Provo's FroYo this week. Its a frozen yougurt place near the dollar theater. They have different flavors each day and they play I Love Lucy for those who stay and eat there. We went 2 times this week and were the only ones there so we just say down and watched an episode each time. It ws fun because even KC liked to sit there and watch it, he would even laugh. I loved it.
Our bishop helped open a mexican food restaurant franchise this week so we checked it out. It is very authentic mexican food and some of it is even imported from there. They have the authentic mexican sodas and the mexican Palletas (popsicles that are fruit based with milk). We went there with Alyssa and KC got tacos that were made with Marinated pork and pineapple and I got just the plane carne asada tacos. They were really, very good and is going to be one of our favoite places up here.
Well I know this is all very long but it was a great week for us. 2 weeks from now we'll be on our disney cruise with my family so we are really looking forward to that. We are also excited to start studying this years sunday school and RS/priesthood lessons. We both love the book of mormon and are excited to be teaching is alongside learning about Joseph Smith. Its going to be a great year. We love you all very much and hope you have a great week!
