So here we are...

This last week and a half was a fun one. Owen got sick and I had to stay home with him. He had high fevers and a super runny nose and he wouldn't eat anything. It was sad. So we got him all better and then I got sick. Nothing too bad where I had to stay home from work but i had a little cold. Then the end of this last week KC started getting sick too. He's not quite over it but nothing where he needs to stay home either. But with lots of Vitamin C, Vix Vapo Rub, and humidifiers we are all getting better.

Last Sunday, since Owen was sick and KC had to stay home from church with him, KC was itching to get out of the house. So we went for a relaxing Sunday drive to Utah Lake. It was neat because I've never been to that side of Provo but the lake was actually pretty. Kc got out and skipped a few rocks and Owen and I enjoyed the brisk cool air.


There was a spot in the lake that still had unmelted snow in the water. It was really pretty where the clear water and snowy water met.

Then this week Owen and I picked up Alyssa from school while she had a break and we went to the park. It was one of the few sunny days we had this week so we took advantage of the 60 degree weather. We went to the park and Owen totally enjoyed playing... by himself. He didn't want me or Alyssa to bother him at all. He just wanted to climb up the steps and go down the slide, over and over and over. It was cute and I'm glad he enjoyed it, even if we weren't allowed to play with him :) But he did let me swing on the swings with him for a few minutes. That was great too.


The rest of the week, though, was not the most fun outside weather. We had snow and rain and clouds.

Well this week has high hopes, we all get better and more sunny days? That's what I hope for :) Love you all!
