Major Snow

Hey everyone! So this past week went by pretty quickly. School and work weren't very interesting so there's not much to say about that. Friday night KC and I were going to go to a religion symposium at BYU with Alyssa. We got ready and walked all over campus trying to find it until we finally stopped to look up where it was. Come to find out, it's not til next week. So we came home and watched "The Rain Maker". It stars Matt Damon, Danny DeVito and Claire Danes. Matt Damon is a recent Law student grad and he takes on this huge case. It was a very good movie, I would definitely suggest it.

Sat was a freezing cold day. It was just a gray morning and by Sat afternoon it was snowing a TON. We turned on the BYU football game (that we weren't at because it was so cold) and it was snowing so hard in the stadium that you could hardly see anything. The field was covered so you could barely see any grass. Through the camera the snow was so thick that we couldn't see the football or anything. It was crazy. At the same time as the game was ending, KC and I decided to go to the dollar theater. It took us almost an hour to get over there (and it's really not far at all, a few miles maybe). With the game traffic and the snow, no one was moving very quickly. We went and saw the movie "The Transformers". It was a fun movie. I mean definately a guy movie but i liked it too. It was fun to see them changing from cars to the robot things that they are. And i'm not sure how he does it but Shia LeBouf gets to star with these really good looking girls in his movies lately, i bet he feels cool :)

Well Sunday I gave the lesson in our Sunday School class. We teach the 14-15yr olds. And i must brag that we have the best class ever. All the kids in it participate and know their scriptures. Its the best. Our Lesson was on Faith and it went really well. We read Hebrews CH 11. Its a good chapter with stories of faith if anyone is interested. Afterwards KC and i took a drive through the canyon. At the base of the mountains it looks like fall. The trees are all turning colors so everything is yellow and orange. We took a walk down this lane and took some pictures with the leaves. KC had some fun as you'll see in the pictures. We drove up one of the mountains also. At the top it was about 28 degrees and snowing. Everything was dead, but it was a cool view of the Utah valley, we have pictures of that too.

We went over to Kc's mom's for dinner. It was neat to spend some time with just her. KC was telling all of these funny stories about him and his friends and his mom said that her favorite thing used to be just listening to KC and his friends while growing up. Apparently they were pretty comedic. Well that was our interesting weekend. It's supposed to warm up this week so no snow til next weekend probably (we've been having beautiful weather during the week and come the weekend it's freezing and gray the whole time). Well i hope everyone is doing great! We love and miss you all!
