So this weekend was KC's mission reunion. He went to the Thailand Bangkok Mission and has been home 3yrs this month. It was fun for him to meet up with some companions and friends from the mish. A Thai sister, Sister Noi, had flown in for a couple of days and was there to see all the missionaries. She made Masaman for everyone. I tried it and it wasn't that bad, pretty good actually. It was fun to see all the friends that kc has there. He has a companion that is an inch or two taller that he is and they were called the "twin towers" while walking around Thailand. His name is Brandon Henderson. They believed they could baptize thousands by intimidation but to no avail. He had some other friends there that werent his companions but served in the same areas that were just as tall as these 2. I felt very short :) His mission pre's wife came and told me that KC was an awesome misisonary. She had lots of great thing to say about him and was just so excited to see both of us. Some of the recently returned missionaries spoke on the status of the areas they were in when they left and it sounds like the Thailand mission is growing and prospering greatly. (In the picture below are some other buddies: Brad Robinson, Jordan Rabe, and Jared Gray)
Also this weekend we had some friends from AZ in town. Brittnie and JT Gillespie came in from Mesa for a mission reunion also and stayed with us for Sat's conference sessions also. We enjoyed seeing them and enjoyed their company.
**update on the weather: it was cold and rainy all Saturday but by Sunday it was sunny and warm again. We didn't get snow down here but the mountains got a good amount.
