Our Past Week

Hey everyone, here's a quick update on us, even though I posted like 3 things this week. Well first off, I got a promotion at work, so that was really exciting. I am now the supervisor over the Scheduling and Tech Support departments. I'm really excited for it. Next, Friday night KC and I drove up to SLC with our friends to President Hinckley's viewing. We got there at 7pm at night and it was freezing cold out side. The line was about 4-5 hours long. It was 2 hours out side and 2 in side. After about 1 hour of being outside our feet litterally felt like blocks of ice. It was sad. Well the firends that we went with have a 15 mo old baby and we kept her in the stroller as long as we could. After about 1hr of standing in line we sent KC up to see how long the line really was and my friends husband was still parking the car (he had to drop us off and go get hot chocolate for us), this really nice gentleman came up to us and just asked us how many were in our party. We told him 5 and he said he would be right back. He came back about 3 times while we were still waiting for men to get back and when they finally did the nice man brought us inside. He kept saying that he didn't like babies in the cold so he wanted to help us. We thought that he was just going to bring us inside and get us into line there but no, he asked us to follow him in to the elevator and he said that once we got to the top we'd be right at the casket. So instead of a 5 hour wait, we got through the whole thing in about 1 1/2 hrs. It was really spiritual being up at the casket. There was no noise and you could really feel the spirit. It was really sweet. On our way out, the nice gentleman gave us all tickets to the funeral. I wasnt able to go but KC took his friend Ronnie and they had a really great time. They said there was not a dry eye in the whole conference center.
Needless to say we had a really great week. I tried to keep this short so you wouldnt get too bored of reading everything I write but oh well. Have and awesome week!!! love you all!
