Owen pics

So I went online today to see my blog and I couldn't believe that I haven't updated at all in June and its already the 12th. I'm sorry. But my computer broke and now i don't have one that works unless i convince KC to leave his home for the day. So anyways, I'll update a little now.

My parents came up last week. My mom drove up with 8 kids. Dallin and some cousins went to EFY that week and Mom, Jeffrey, Kim and Kat hung out here during the day. It was so much fun to have them here. My dad came up Thursday night and then they all left on Sunday morning. I love having my family visit.

My parents were so kind to get Owen a high chair and a "bumbo" (a seat thing for him to sit up in, there are lots of pics of him in it). They are so kind do that for Owen and he loves both chairs. Now that he's eating food its nice to have a high chair to put him in instead of just holding him on our lap.

The Saturday that my family was here we went to the 50 years of performing by Marvin Goldstein. We had a friend singing in it so we went to support her. The whole night was just amazing. There were so many great singers and songwriters that performed. I loved the whole night.

After my parents left, the let Kathryn stay behind and she has been so kind to watch Owen for us during the days while I'm at work. She does really good with him and takes him for walks and everything. She has just been great. She even has made dinner a few nights, its the best! We love having her up here. She's staying with us for the whole month of June and part of July. I don't know what we'll do with Owen then, I wont have anyone to watch him :(

So funny story, now that Owen has been on food he's been kind of constipated every few days. I've been giving him prunes and that usually helps. But this week he had gone 3 days with out pooping, so for breakfast one day I gave him rice cereal mixed with some Gerber Prune/apple juice. He hadn't pooped by the time i got home so i mixed prunes with rice cereal for dinner. The next day there was still nothing coming out of him. So I gave him prunes again, with nothing mixed in this time (i know, i probably got him sick from all the prunes, but I didn't know what else to do). So that day while I was at work he finally got some poops out... nothing to disastrous though. So for dinner that night Kathryn was feeding him some bananas (finally no more prunes) and he pooped so much while sitting in his chair... it was so gross. It came out the foot rest. I just picked him up and put him right in the shower, clothes and all. It was really gross, but I'm glad he did it while I was hope and poop Kathryn didn't have to clean it up. Ya it was hilarious!

Well that's my quick little update. I put lots of pics up. Owen turns 5 months tomorrow! I cant believe it! He's getting so old. In the pics you can see how much he's grown. He's looking more and more like a little boy to me. KC and I just love him to pieces!
