On saturday we watched the Art City Days grand parade. It wasn't quite like the Provo parade but it was still fun to go out and do something. We actually started our day with taking 1 yr pics of Jack (finally) and some with Owen too. We got some on a 1937 fire truck and it was so cute. I liked those pics the best. Then we met our friends for the parade. That afternoon we went out just to get out and it was so windy, the weather was crazy. I couldn't even get Owen into the car very well because the wind kept blowing the door shut on me.
We had my Aunt Sheila and cousin Makayla visit on Sunday. It is always fun having visitors.
I read another book this weekend. It called "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" by Jamie Ford. It was another book for my book club and one I would never have read about and thought "I want to read that" but I actually liked this one. It was the story of a Chinese man living in seattle who recalls events of his life in 1942 when America got involved in WWII. Sort of an interesting story. Now I have 4 more books to read rather quickly since 3 of them are from the library and have a waiting list so they can't be renewed. Good thing I'm in a reading mood these days :)
Anyways, here are some pics from our weekend
