I love the Mountains...

We just experienced our first family camping trip. It was actually very fun. And fortunately it doesn't get dark until after 9pm here so arriving at the campsite at 7 wasn't too bad. We arrived, set up, ate Enchilladas (in honor of my Papito), made smores, and sent the children off to bed. They slept fabulously well. We got up, ate pancakes (with out syrup because I forgot it) and then leisurely packed up and came home. And we did not get home soon enough for our boys. They were so exhausted that Owen cried the whole way home and they are still napping now, 2 hours later. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Setting up the Tent. I slept on a cot, Jack in his porta crib, Owen on his air matress, and KC on a mat on the ground.

It is a mickey mouse fishing pole so Owen called it his "fishing hand". Thats what mickey uses in the mickey mouse clubhouse show.
