Hey all! so i didn't write last week. I'm sorry, I was sitting here Sunday night and couldn't remember what i did that week so i figured it wasn't anything worth writing about. But I was wrong. So let me tell you what i did 2 weeks ago. So we were having this big party at work for our department. It was going to be the first party we've really had so 1) we didn't really know what we were doing and 2) we knew we wanted it to be really cool. So my manager decided we should make Tie Dye shirts for everyone. Since the other supervisor and I didn't really know what we were doing we said sure. So one evening after work we decided to make these shirts for everyone. We got to the house at about 7:30-8pm and thought this should take long to make 25 shirts :). So conveniently my manager had to run back to the store so Skyler (the other sup) and another one of our agents, Chris, started on the shirts. We had no idea what we were doing and worst of all, didn't have gloves. So it didn't take long to realize that this dye stuff dyes your hands
too. It also took us about 1 hour to figure out how to actually dye the shirts. So we didn't finish until 11pm and my hands were greener than green. I looked like Elphaba, the wicked witch of the west. It was sad and we thought the shirts were going to turn out horrible because we didn't know what we were doing but it ended up not being that bad.

That was 2 weeks ago. This past week was pretty normal I guess. The exciting thing is that supposedly kc is cancer free now. He had to have the "surgery" and they went in and numbed his ear (which by the way he said hurt worse than anything he's ever felt. He now understands why I was cutting off his blood flow
when they had to numb my chin a few years ago). So they numbed his ear and they they cut out about 1 1/2 in of ear. Like the top part of his ear is gone :( . They had to cut the part out and then freeze the sample for an hour. After which they checked it under a microscope and determined that they got it all the first time, yay, otherwise they'd have to cut more out. They stitched him up and now his ear is healing.

My mom sent him some cupcakes from a place in SLC as a get better present. It was the cutest thing ever. I told KC to expect a
package but didn't tell him what it was or who it was from so when he got it he was so excited. It was cute. They were mini cupcakes and the frosting came in the little cups so that it didn't smear everywhere. They also came with some toppers so that you could decorate your cupcakes with sprinkle things and such. They were super good. Thanks Mom!!!

Last night (Sat) KC was finishing up a project for school that is due on Monday and had to be spiral bound before turning in. So at 9:30 last night we made a trip to Kinkos and got it all finished. Its pretty cool. He should get an awesome grade on it. They've had to turn it in to the teacher in parts and on each part she's written that she loves the way KC writes and that it's nice to be able to just read his and not have to mark it up everywhere. So he's pretty excited to turn in the final copy. His other classes are coming to an end also and he's so ready for them to be done. He may not be ready for finals yet but he's ready to be done with these classes. He has like 1 more week of classes and then finals I think so yay.
Well with a last bit of news... My brother Dallin just passed his board of review to get his Eagle Scout Award. He's 13 right now and has been working hard on all his projects so he's super stoked that he's done with everything. We're soooo proud of him. He's the first boy in the Skousen family (and extended families) to receive this award so this is pretty big for him! Congrats Dallin!!! We'll be flying down to AZ for his Court of Honor in May so I'm glad we'll be able to be there.
Anyways, we hope you all enjoyed conference last week. There were some awesome talks that I would urge you to read and re-read. They were really good. Well have an awesome week. We love you all!!!
