Disneyland!

SO the Disneyland trip was SOOO fun. This is what happened...
Tuesday, my mom and I decided that we were for sure going to Disneyland with Kim and Kat for their 13th birthday. So my dad was so kind to help me get my flight changed to leave from Ontario instead. Secretly my dad and I thought it would be fun to fly Alyssa out to meet us there, so my dad got her flights and everything was set with out anyone else knowing. Wednesday we started driving out and My dad and I had set up the GPS to take us to the Ontario airport instead of our hotel in Anaheim. SO we start driving out and the whole time no one knows...It was a smooth drive also, we stopped once to clean the windshield (i swear, it was the attack of the huge gross orange bugs, I was totally gagging and couldn't even look out the front window, it was sad). Then we stopped for dinner and that was it. Owen slept the whole time and was perfect. So we got close to the airport and I thought that my mom would have figured it out by then because she was telling stories of having to drive my dad to the airport for work but she just assumed that we passed it to get to the next freeway. She didn't get it until we pulled into the airport next to the parking lot and she asked "are we going to the airport, is KC coming to meet us?" I just laughed and told her that we were here to pick up Alyssa. It was so fun to see her surprise and the surprise of Kim and Kat...they were so excited. This was just the trip my mom had asked for.
So we picked up Alyssa and made it to the hotel (which was just down the street from Disneyland). We all got to sleep and got up early the next morning. We ate at Denny's and i think we were in and out in 20 minutes... they were super quick. Once we parked at Disneyland and rode the tram to the entrance I realized that i had forgot Owen's jacket and blankets...so Owen and I got to ride the tram back to the parking lot to get those. We got into the park and the first ride that the girls had chosen was Indiana Jones so that's where we headed. The park was so not crowded at all. It was really nice! So we got the baby switch pass and I sat out with Owen until they were done and then Kim and I went on it again. Man that is one of the best rides. We did Splash Mountain while Owen rode Pooh's Windy Adventure (or whatever it's called) with my mom and then again with me. He must love that one :)
Owen got to ride on Pirates of the Caribbean and the ride stopped for a few minutes when we were right next to a spot that shot water on us. So we had to cover Owen... it was funny. We also did a few rides in Fantasy Land that Owen got to ride. He did so awesome the whole day.

My favorite part of Disneyland was the Baby Care Center. Oh my Gosh, that is the best thing ever made for someone visiting Disneyland with a baby. They have clean changing tables, and closed off area for nursing mothers, and you can buy diapers, wipes, or baby food there. I mean, what a great idea! It was quiet, calm and relaxing in there...the Best!

We were there from open at 9am to close at 11pm. I cant believe we lasted so long but everyone did so good, no complaining or anything. And Owen just slept most of the day. It was so fun.

The next day we got up and Alyssa and I flew out from Ontario and Mom, Kim and Kat drove home. It was a quite trip the the perfect thing. We all needed our Disneyland fix!
