So KC and I made it through the night and the next day when we left Owen with my parents in Heber. It was a very sad night but I survived. After I was thinking back on it, I decided that it was extra hard because I was at home doing my same old routine but he wasn't there. Maybe if he had been the one at home and I'd been on vacation it would have been different. But I'm not sure. KC's sister was so nice to remember that we were leaving Owen and she called me monday morning just to check on me and make sure I was doing alright. That was SO nice of her.
Well we left my parents in UT and we're on our way to CA. We're super excited to be there. It'll be my first time EVER away from my family on christmas but I think I'm finally old enough to try it :) Me and Alyssa are in the same boat this year (at the in-laws for the very first time) so we'll see how it goes and report back.
