...Don't Stop Believing...

So this past week has been great. KC and I did some fun things so it was better than the same old that we do each week. So this was just normal for me at work, just work work work. KC had spring break this week so he only had school Monday and Tuesday. It was nice for him to have a real break, not just missing school :) And he definitely took the break. He was able to just do little things around here and then go to work for a few hours. he really enjoyed it.

Friday KC told me I had to choose what we did that night. I don't really do that but i figured, oh well, I'll choose something. So I decided that we were going to the dollar theater. I gave KC a list of movies we could see and we chose "27 Dresses". It was sooo cute. It stars Katherine Heigl and James Marsden and it was a lot cuter than I expected. It will probably be one that I actually buy. The story mixes well with the characters and it makes you remember what good romantic comedies are made of. We came home and were in such a 'chic flic' mood that we put the Notebook on and watched that also, it was great. I have the best husband.

Saturday I went and got my hair done. It was a little scary because I had never met my stylist before and never even been to the salon. But my stylist was great. She did an awesome job on my hair and I will definitely go to her again. She made the whole experience enjoyable with little bits of conversation here and there but not overwhelming, and with how well she did on my hair. I love it. It's back to blonder and short.
That night KC and I went to the Utah Flash game. We were invited by Pinnacle so we got to sit in the Box Seats. It was fun to get out and do something different. We haven't been to a Flash game for a while. They played the Idaho Stampede and we lost 88-93. So it was close but disappointing. Utah was up for the first half but just couldn't hold on to it I guess. Later that night we went to the DeLorian's concert. Its a band made up of 3 of KC's friends that a few others. It was a lot of fun. They play cover songs so people can sing along to them and it actually sounds pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was the singer. But the rest of the band was awesome. They played songs like "don't stop believing" by Journey and "Somebody told me" by The Killers and they make the songs sound pretty much exactly the same as the original. The concert had a great turn out and everyone was totally enjoying it. It was way fun.
Well today KC and I had Alyss and Tyler over for dinner. We haven't ever had just them over so it was fun to just get to converse with them. We had taco's and Spanish rice that turned out really good actually. And Tyler brought dessert. It was all gourmet and everything. He made this fudge/ cake thing that was make of dark chocolate and sat on top of blackberry sauce. It was way good just really rich. We couldn't each very much. But Tyler went all out and even brought chocolate shavings to put on top and everything. He's a very good chef and really creative.
This coming Tuesday my mom is driving up with all my brothers and sisters. We are so excited to be able to spend the week with them. That's what we're looking forward too. KC and I will have to work all day but we'll get to spend the evening with them. We're so excited. Well we hope you all are doing great. We love you lots!!!
