So Owen turned 4 months this week and had hos DR appt to get all his shots. He weighed in at 15lbs 11ozs...75% and is 26 in tall...75-90%. He's getting so big. The dr told us to put him on rice cereal and baby vegis and fruits. That's exciting. So we tried it out. I tried it out yesterday but I made it wrong (apparently 4tbls is different than 4 ozs). So I tried it again today and he took it better. He's not used to eating that way though so he got really frustrated. But we'll work on it.
So friday we went to the slc Bees baseball game with 2 of KC's mission buddies. Unfortunately Owen was so exhusted from running errands with me that day that he was so tired and got really fussy. He started screaming in a high pitched voice...not just crying really hard...but screaming. It was sad. So he fell asleep in the car but woke up when I moved him to his crib so I thought i'd put him in the shower so he could sleep better...that was obviously not the right decision...he was screaming so hard...i was worried that the neighbors were going to come see what we were doing to Owen. So I barely got a diaper on him and them wrapped him in a blanket and rocked him to sleep. Poor kid.
The on sat we went to a wedding reception for one of KC's friends and on the way home I needed to feed owen his bottle. But he started swallowing air so I had KC pull over so I could burp Owen and good thing we did because right then he pooped a ton...the kind that would have definitely ben all over the car seat had he been in it. I started changing it and it was so gross I started gagging and kc had to come help me (see dad, I told you not to rule out gagging just yet).
Well anyways, the weather here has been awesome...we walked to church...it was perfect for that. We really enjoyed that. Anyways, have an awesome week. We love you all lots!

Don't you love the adventures of being a mom? I know I say this on every post, but he's getting SO big, and totally handsome as always!
